Bladder pain syndrome (BPS)

Bladder pain syndrome (BPS), often referred to as interstitial cystitis, is a condition that leads to pain in your lower abdomen or back, accompanied by a frequent urge to urinate. Although there is no definitive cure at present, various treatments can assist in alleviating your symptoms. Common symptoms of bladder pain syndrome include discomfort during bladder filling after consuming fluids, and you might find some relief after urinating. The symptoms of BPS can fluctuate, with periods of increased intensity known as flare-ups, followed by times when they improve.
