About Mr Antony Palmer

Mr Antony Palmer is a leading consultant orthopaedic surgeon based in Oxford. His areas of expertise include hip replacement, revision hip replacement, minimally invasive surgery, robotic surgery. Mr Palmer is part of the renowned Oxford Knee Group. Mr Palmer qualified from the University of Oxford in 2006. He then undertook the NIHR-integrated academic training programme, before completing higher specialist training in trauma and orthopaedics through the prestigious Severn Deanery. Mr Palmer was later awarded a DPhil in Musculoskeletal Sciences for his research into the development of hip osteoarthritis. In addition to his clinical practice, Mr Palmer has an accomplished research portfolio and serves as a senior clinical research fellow, focusing on perioperative care and joint infection to improve patient outcomes. He also holds esteemed fellowship to the Royal College of Surgeons.
