About Miss Anupreet Dua

Miss Anupreet Dua is a highly regarded consultant gynaecologist and subspecialist urogynaecologist based in Plymouth, practising at Nuffield Health Plymouth Hospital. She has extensive expertise in managing conditions such as vaginal prolapse, urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, and pelvic floor dysfunction, with particular interest in complex issues like sexual dysfunction, vulvodynia, and recurrent urinary tract infections. Miss Dua is known for her compassionate, patient-focused care, offering tailored treatment for a wide range of urogynaecological concerns. Miss Dua completed her general training in obstetrics and gynaecology through the Yorkshire Deanery, before undertaking a three-year subspecialist programme in urogynaecology at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals. Since 2012, she has worked as a consultant at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust, where she now leads the urogynaecology unit. Under her leadership, the unit has been accredited as a subspecialist training centre by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. In her role as Training Programme Director for the national subspecialist training scheme, she plays a key role in mentoring and developing future specialists in the field. Miss Dua is also committed to research and academic development within urogynaecology. She has authored over 30 publications focused on the diagnosis, investigation, and management of prolapse, urinary incontinence, and sexual dysfunction. She is an active member of the British Society of Urogynaecology and the International Urogynaecology Association, contributing to clinical governance and curriculum development.
