About Dr Nikolaos Kamperidis

Dr Nik Kamperidis is a leading consultant gastroenterologist in London who specialises in inflammatory bowel disease, endoscopy, colonoscopy, indigestion and irritable bowel syndrome. Dr Kamperidis graduated from the Aristotle University in Greece in 2003. He undertook his specialist training in London and Kent, and in Surrey and Sussex, as well as an advanced endoscopy fellowship at St Mark’s Hospital. Dr Kamperidis completed his postgraduate studies and was awarded an MSc degree and an MD (Res) from Barts and the London School of Medicine. His thesis Nutrient Effects in Inflammatory Bowel Disease has been presented at national and international conferences and his research is published in peer-reviewed journals. His current research focuses on treatment optimisation of novel therapies and the improvement in quality care for patients who have IBD.
