About Mr Sanjay Chawathe

Mr Sanjay Chawathe is a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist based at Nuffield Health The Vale Hospital. He specialises in menstrual disorders, menopause, pelvic pain, urogynaecology, Bartholin’s cysts, and hysterectomies. Mr Chawathe qualified from Bombay University in 1989, and has been a consultant of the Cwm Taf Morganwg University Health Board since 2004. He has completed fellowships with the College of Physicians and Surgeons in Mumbai in 1992 and the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2010. He is a member of the British Society of Urogynaecology and the British Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy. Mr Chawathe provides both conservative and surgical management of gynaecological conditions, accommodating his patients’ needs with thoughtfulness and attention to detail.
