About Mr Sujit Agarwal

Mr Sujit Agarwal is a leading consultant orthopaedic and trauma surgeon based in Edgbaston, Stourbridge and Halesowen who specialises in all aspects of knee and hip surgery. His areas of expertise include knee and hip arthritis, knee and hip replacement, partial knee replacement, meniscus injury and repair, as well as osteoarthritis, knee osteotomy, joint preservation and arthroscopy. Mr Agarwal also offers intra-articular hip and knee injections, including Arthrosamid, for joint pain and synovitis. Mr Agarwal consults privately at The Priory Hospital, Ramsay The Stourside Hospital and Ramsay West Midlands Hospital. With over 25 years’ experience, he also practises for Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals. Previously, Mr Agarwal worked at The Droitwich Spa Hospital from 2022 to 2024. Mr Agarwal qualified from Pondicherry University in 1998. He undertook his higher surgical training in London and Surrey, before completing two prestigious knee and hip arthroplasty fellowships, at Mater Hospital and Royal Northshore Hospital in Sydney and at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York. Furthermore, Mr Agarwal holds esteemed fellowship to the Royal College of Surgeons, in both trauma and orthopaedics, since 2017. In addition to his clinical practice, Mr Agarwal is also dedicated to medical education and training, and currently serves as a surgical tutor for the Royal College of Surgeons. He has contributed to clinical research through various publications and is an active member of several professional organisations, including the British Orthopaedic Association.
