About Mr Saman Horriat

Mr Saman Horriat is a highly esteemed consultant trauma and orthopaedic surgeon in Margate and Canterbury. He specialises in hip and knee pain as well as osteoarthritis of the hip and knee. Additionally, he is expert in robotic hip and knee surgery and trauma in the lower limb. Mr Horriat undertook higher surgical training in south west London’s training programme after completing his initial medical degree. He also went on to receive specialist training in hip and knee replacement, complex arthroplasty of the lower limb and robotics assisted arthroplasty at several renowned institutions including University College Hospital and St George’s University Hospital. He has also been awarded a fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Mr Horriat works in private practice at BMI Chaucer Hospital and Spencer Private Hospital.
