About Mr Cesare Quarto

Mr Cesare Quarto is a consultant cardiothoracic surgeon at Cleveland Clinic London and the Royal Brompton Hospital, treating both private and NHS patients. After graduating with honors in cardiac surgery from the University of Naples Federico II, he trained at Monaldi Hospital in Italy before relocating to London in 2007. At Royal Brompton, Mr Quarto gained extensive expertise in aortic and complex cardiac surgery, working alongside leading cardiac surgeons. Appointed as a consultant in 2013, he specialises in advanced cardiac procedures, including complex aortic surgeries and innovative treatments for aortic disease. He has received international recognition, jointly winning three awards for his contributions to the pioneering transcatheter heart valve implantation program for patients unsuitable for open-heart surgery. Mr Quarto has also published several research papers, contributing to advancements in cardiac surgery.
