About Dr Kiran Sachane

Dr Kiran Sachane is a leading consultant in anaesthesia and pain medicine in Edinburgh. He is highly-experienced in both the assessment and treatment of pain, including, back and spinal pain, neck and head pain, migraine, fibromyalgia, shoulder pain, and hip and knee pain. Dr Sachane qualified in anaesthesia before becoming professionally trained as a consultant in pain medicine, working in hospitals in both the UK and India. He completed a prestigious fellowship at the world-renowned centre for pain management, Walton Centre for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Liverpool. Dr Sachane regularly attends lectures and conferences so that his knowledge and skills stay up to date. He regularly teaches trainee and other medical personnel as well as presents abstracts and posters at both national and international conferences. Dr Sachane is a keen researcher and is involved in researching new forms of neuromodulation as well as medications for the long-term treatment of neuropathy/ pain.
