Dr Nirupam Purkayastha, based in London, is a highly accomplished consultant rheumatologist and general physician, specialising in various aspects of rheumatology including rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, joint injections, fibromyalgia, and gout. Dr Purkayastha undertook his medical education at Queen Mary University London in 2008. He further pursued his academic interests by completing his PhD at the William Harvey Research Institute at the same university in 2021. His doctoral research focused on joint ultrasound in inflammatory arthritis and joint tissue gene analysis. Prior to his current position at AN Medical Services, he contributed significantly to patient care at King’s College Hospital in London.
