About Dr Paul Rolfe
Dr Paul Rolfe is a highly esteemed consultant in pain medicine who studied medicine at Jesus College, University of Cambridge. He undertook specialist training in anaesthesia across East Anglia and London, with advanced training in both pain medicine and paediatric anaesthesia. He holds a Fellowship from the Royal College of Anaesthetists (FRCA) and is also a Fellow of the Faculty of Pain Medicine (FFPMRCA). Dr Rolfe serves as the lead clinician for paediatric pain at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. His clinical work is split between pain management and paediatric anaesthesia. He has sub-specialised in paediatric chronic pain medicine and is among a small group of national experts in this area. In addition, he maintains a substantial adult pain practice, using interventional techniques such as nerve blocks to treat conditions including back pain and sciatica.
