About Miss Fiona McCaig

MissFionaMcCaig is a highly respected consultanturologicalandrenaltransplantsurgeon based in London. She is renowned for her expertise in urinarytractinfection (UTI), urinaryincontinence and urodynamictesting and also specialises in haematuria (blood in urine) and bladdercancer. Miss McCaig qualified in medicine from the UniversityofEdinburgh in 2001 and following further training, became a fellow of the RoyalCollegeofSurgeons. She has additionally completed a year long fellowship in urological and renal transplant surgery at the revered HôpitalNecker in Paris, France, where the world’s first kidney transplant took place in 1952. Miss McCaig’s extensive academic publications appear in esteemed peer reviewed journals. She is an editor for the JournalofClinicalUrology and a member of the BritishAssociationofUrologicalSurgeons.
