About Dr Evagelia Paraskevopoulou

Dr Evagelia Paraskevopoulou is a Paediatrician with a special interest in Diabetes and Endocrinology, obesity and eating disorders. Originally born in Greece and fully Greek speaking, she has completed her education in the UK and received her MBBS with Merit at St George's University of London. She trained in London and attained her membership to the Royal College of Paediatrics in 2005. She has been a well-respected Paediatric consultant in Surrey, and is currently working at St George's Hospital as the Clinical Lead in Paediatric Diabetes. Dr Paraskevopoulou has vast experience in treating all aspects of paediatric conditions. She has additional expertise in health screening, faltering growth, constipation, breathing problems, abdominal pain, eating disorders and obesity. She is part of the National CYP Diabetes TIDE (type 1 diabetes and eating disorders) working group developing national guidance, and she is a member of the CYP Diabetes Network and the British Society of Paediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes. She has a holistic approach to her medical management and considers the family as a unit when treating her patients.
