Professor Dan Augustine is a highly accomplished consultant cardiologist based in Bristol, practising at the One Heart Clinic Bristol. He specialises in advanced cardiac care, with expertise in heart valve disease, heart failure, coronary artery disease, sports cardiology and heart risk factor management and heart imaging. With extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of cardiovascular disease, Professor Augustine combines clinical skill with a strong commitment to patient-centred care, ensuring the highest standards of treatment for complex cardiovascular conditions. Professor Augustine has a distinguished background in cardiac imaging, including echocardiography and cardiac MRI, which underpins his precise and modern diagnostic approach. He is President of the British Society of Echocardiography, where he has led the development of national guidelines implemented across NHS trusts. He completed a cardiovascular imaging research fellowship at the University of Oxford, gained an MD(Res), and serves as an Honorary Professor at the University of Bath.
