About Dr Naveed Sarwar

Dr Naveed Sarwar is a consultant medical oncologist with considerable experience in the delivery of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, endocrine therapy and targeted therapies. Working across a number of cancer centres and clinics in London, Dr Sarwar has a specialist interest in treating cancer of the prostate, kidneys, and bladder, in addition to skin cancer, breast cancer, testicular cancer, and gynaecological cancer. Dr Sarwar’s approach involves personalising care to each patient, taking into account any other conditions you have, and explaining all treatment options available in layman’s terms to help you come to a decision about what is right for you. After initially qualifying from St George’s Hospital Medical School, Dr Sarwar pursued specialist oncology training in prestigious institutions including Charing Cross Hospital, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, and The Royal Marsden. Dr Sarwar holds a PhD from Imperial college London and spent four years working as a clinical research fellow for Cancer Research UK. He is currently involved in a number of trials of new biological agents for breast cancer, and his work is widely published in peer reviewed journals.
