About Miss Baljinder Kaur Chohan

As a consultant gynaecologist with a passion for women’s health, Miss Baljinder Kaur Chohan is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred and evidence-based care for all women. Miss Kaur Chohan understands the significant impact gynaecological symptoms can have on day-to-day living and how difficult it can sometimes be to obtain clear answers or effective solutions. She aims to help women better understand their bodies and feel hopeful about their gynaecological health. Miss Kaur Chohan prides herself on applying a holistic approach and strives to provide personalised care tailored to each patient. Her key areas of interest include early pregnancy care and benign gynaecology, including period problems such as heavy and painful periods and irregular bleeding, pain during intercourse, vaginal discharge, PCOS and fibroids, among others. She is proficient in transabdominal and transvaginal ultrasound scanning and believes that imaging is essential in understanding and optimally managing gynaecological conditions. Miss Kaur Chohan qualified from University College London in 2006, having also completed an intercalated BSc in Pharmacology. Following completion of her postgraduate training in the Thames Valley region, including training at Oxford University Hospital, Miss Kaur Chohan has been a substantive consultant at Royal Berkshire Hospital since 2018, where she works as an obstetrician and gynaecologist. She also has a strong interest in medical education and believes it is essential to contribute to the training of future doctors. At the moment, she is based at London Gynaecology - Harley Street and London Gynaecology - Richmond.
