Miss Anne Henderson is a consultant gynaecologist, British Menopause Society Advanced Specialist and Clinic Director in Kent and London. She has expertise in menopause, perimenopause and premenstrual syndrome (PMS), alongside premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), heavy periods, vulvar disorders and bladder symptoms. She privately practices at The Amara Clinic, where she is Director, at No. 25 Harley Street, and has a specialist medico-legal practice. Miss Henderson has become a leading authority in menopause care, with over 35 years of experience. She trained at the University of Cambridge and completed postgraduate medical training in the South East before spending 17 years as a senior NHS consultant. She established one of the largest NHS menopause clinics in the South East and remains dedicated to improving access to high-quality menopause care across the UK. Miss Henderson integrates both conventional and complementary treatments in her practice. She has worked closely with a medical herbalist for over 20 years, recognising the value of herbal medicine in managing menopause and gynaecological conditions.
