About Mr Rohit Shetty
Mr Rohit Shetty is a distinguished consultant orthopaedic surgeon who has made significant contributions to the field of complex spinal surgery. His areas of expertise include spinal surgery, back pain, neck pain, spinal osteoporosis, sciatica, and lumbar herniated disc. Mr Shetty graduated from Manipal University in India in 1995 before obtaining his master’s degree in trauma and orthopaedic surgery in 1997. His training continued with a diplomate of National Board in trauma and orthopaedics in 1999. He has, to date, successfully completed a handful of fellowships in various aspects of spinal surgery at Royal Berkshire in Reading (UK) Centre for Spinal Studies and Surgery, Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham (UK) Inselspital in Bern and the Swiss Olympic Medical Centre at the Schulthess Klinik in Zurich (Switzerland). Mr Shetty's primary subspecialty interest lies in adult reconstructive deformity and his surgical skills extend to both conservative and operative management. Mr Shetty actively contributes to the medical community and is a current member of the British Association of Spine Surgeons (BASS).
