About Lucy Kerrison

Lucy Kerrison is a registered and highly esteemed consultant gastrointestinal dietitian with a specialist focus on gut health. She is dedicated to supporting individuals with a wide range of gastrointestinal concerns, including reflux, bloating, diarrhoea, constipation, and abdominal pain. Ms Kerrison has particular expertise in managing conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), coeliac disease, small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO), intestinal methanogenic overgrowth (IMO), and rarer conditions such as eosinophilic oesophagitis (EoE). She also provides dietary support for individuals with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and other women’s health conditions. Her clinical expertise encompasses a variety of evidence-based dietary interventions, including the low FODMAP diet for IBS, exclusive enteral nutrition and the LOFFLEX diet for IBD, as well as four- and six-food elimination diets for EoE. Ms Kerrison takes a compassionate, patient-centred approach, recognising the challenges of modern life and prioritising personalised, practical treatment plans that fit seamlessly into her patients’ routines while remaining flexible and enjoyable. With a background in NHS teaching hospitals, Ms Kerrison brings extensive clinical experience to her practice. In a previous leadership role, she developed and managed a hydrogen breath testing service within one of London’s largest private hospital groups. Her broad expertise spans a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, including autoimmune diseases such as IBD and coeliac disease, as well as gastroparesis, achalasia, bile acid malabsorption (BAM), gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GORD), pancreatitis, pancreatic exocrine insufficiency, diverticular disease, liver disease, and IBS.
