Flat head syndrome (plagiocephaly and brachycephaly)

Some infants may develop a flat head during their early months due to spending a lot of time lying on their backs. This condition is generally not a cause for concern and tends to improve as they grow. The primary indicator of flat head syndrome is the appearance of a flattened head.
