Ganglion cyst

A ganglion cyst is a fluid-filled bump that develops beneath the skin, most frequently found on the wrist or hand. These cysts are quite common and often resolve without any intervention. However, if the cyst causes pain or interferes with joint movement, there are treatment options available. Ganglion cysts feel smooth and soft to the touch, and while the lump itself may be the only noticeable symptom, some individuals may experience numbness or discomfort after using the affected joint.
