About Dr Raman Bhutani

Dr Raman Bhutani is a consultant dermatologist based at BMI The Beaumont Hospital. He currently holds NHS posts at Salford Royal Foundation NHS Trust in Salford, Manchester, and at The Royal Bolton Foundation NHS Trust. Dr Bhutani has extensive clinical interests including acne, eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis, rashes, and hyperhidrosis. He provides both medical and laser treatments for a wide range of conditions such as rosacea, birthmarks, keloid scars, acne scarring, and resistant warts. In addition, he offers surgical procedures for skin tags, wart removal, and skin cancer, as well as botulinum toxin injections for hyperhidrosis and skin creases. Dr Raman Bhutani is UK trained and is a fully accredited consultant dermatologist listed on the GMC Specialist Register. He completed his core medical training at University Hospitals Aintree in Liverpool and South Manchester University Hospitals, before undertaking higher specialist dermatology training at the Leeds Skin Centre, Leeds Teaching Hospital NHS Trust. This internationally recognised centre specialises in inflammatory skin diseases, laser treatments, and skin cancer. He has also been awarded travel grants to study hair disorders in Bologna, Italy. Dr Bhutani’s current NHS practice is based at Salford Royal Foundation NHS Trust and Royal Bolton Foundation NHS Trust. He serves on the skin cancer multidisciplinary team at Royal Bolton Hospital and is an executive committee member of both the British Medical Laser Association and the European Laser Association. With a strong interest in teaching and educational innovation, Dr Bhutani has obtained a postgraduate qualification in Medical Education from Dundee University. He has been actively involved in teaching undergraduate medical students at Manchester University and is a co-lead for dermatology placements at Salford Hospital. He also supervises and trains dermatology registrars within the Northwest Deanery. Dr Bhutani has published extensively in peer-reviewed international journals covering both medical and surgical dermatology and has presented his work at numerous international conferences. He has also authored a book chapter on lasers in Training Essentials, published by the British Association of Dermatologists in the UK. Dr Bhutani is a highly regarded dermatologist offering private consultations for both adults and children. Mr Bhutani holds membership in several professional organisations, including the British Society of Medical Dermatology, the British Cosmetic Dermatology Group, and the British Society of Dermatological Surgery.
