About Dr Dipesh Patel

Mr Dipesh Patel is a consultant oral surgeon based at Ashtead Hospital in Surrey, and works across London, Surrey and Buckinghamshire. He specialises in a range of oral surgery procedures such as impacted wisdom tooth removal, coronectomy, tooth extractions, cyst removal, dental implants, bone grafting, apicectomy, soft tissue surgery and exposure of impacted teeth. He has a subspecialty interest in dental oncology and the management of patients at risk of osteonecrosis. Mr Patel qualified in dentistry from King’s College London Dental School in 2014, and undertook specialist oral surgery training across Buckinghamshire and Guy’s Hospital, upon completing which he was awarded Membership in Oral Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons. He has extensive NHS experience and currently serves as a consultant at East Surrey Hospital. Aside from his practice, Mr Patel’s work has been published in peer-reviewed journals, and he has presented his research both nationally and internationally. He is actively involved in national oral surgery training, and sits on the Specialist Advisory Committee for Oral Surgery in the UK, as well as the co-chair for the oral surgery MCN in KSS. He is a member of the British Association of Oral Surgeons, the Association of Dental Implants, and the Society of the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry.
