Chronic pancreatitis
Chronic pancreatitis is a persistent condition characterised by inflammation, scarring, and discomfort in the pancreas. While there is no cure for this condition, various treatments are available to manage its associated issues. Unlike acute pancreatitis, which involves a sudden onset of inflammation, chronic pancreatitis develops gradually. The primary symptom of chronic pancreatitis is abdominal pain.
