Dr Dipak Mukherjee is a respiratory and general medicine consultant in Brentwood and Basildon who specialises in lung cancer diagnostics, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, tuberculosis, breathlessness, cough, post-COVID breathing issues, endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) and bronchoscopy. He privately practises at Nuffield Health Brentwood Hospital, Spire Hartswood Hospital and the Brook Suite at Nash Basildon Private Patient Unit, while his NHS base is Basildon and Thurrock University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As part of his NHS role, Dr Mukherjee serves as clinical lead for COPD, tuberculosis, pleural disease, oxygen therapy and EBUS at the Essex Cardiothoracic Centre, where he works closely with cardiothoracic surgeons on complex respiratory cases.
