About Professor Ibrahim Fahal

Professor Ibrahim Fahal is a highly regarded consultant nephrologist and physician based in London, offering expert private care at The London Independent Hospital, Nuffield Health Brentwood Hospital, Nuffield Health Highgate Hospital, Spire Hartswood Hospital, and Spire London East Hospital. He specialises in the management of chronic kidney disease, diabetic kidney disease, glomerulonephritis, hypertension, proteinuria (protein in the urine), and haematuria (blood in the urine), providing tailored treatment with a strong focus on early diagnosis and prevention of disease progression. Professor Fahal completed his medical degree at the University of Khartoum before undertaking advanced training in general medicine and nephrology at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital, where he also lectured at the University of Liverpool. Since 1997, he has held a long-standing consultant position at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust. In addition, he is an Honorary Consultant at Barts Health and a Clinical Senior Lecturer at Queen Mary University of London, where he contributes to medical education and clinical research.
