About Dr James Goldring
Dr James Goldring is a consultant respiratory physician at the Cleveland Clinic London Hospital, with expertise in bronchoscopy, pleurodesis, lung diseases like interstitial lung disease and chronic pulmonary disease, and general breathing issues. Dr Goldring graduated from the University of Birmingham in 1998 with a medical degree, and went on to do his medical training at the London Chest, Royal Brompton, and the University College London Hospitals. In 2007, he completed both a Master of Science degree at Imperial College London and a postgraduate certificate in medical education at the University College London. In 2011, he was appointed as consultant in general and respiratory medicine at the Royal Free Hospital, where he leads the pleural and bronchoscopy services. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Goldring holds positions as Clinical Associate Professor at UCL, Training Programme Director at Health Education England, and a medical examiner. He engages actively with researching on the ailments of the lung, and has several journal and book publications on COVID-19, pleural disease, lung cancer, COPD, bronchoscopy, and non-invasive ventilation.
