Atopic eczema

Atopic eczema, also known as atopic dermatitis, is a widespread skin condition that leads to itchy skin. It can affect individuals of any age, but it is particularly prevalent among young children. While there is no cure for atopic eczema, various treatments can help alleviate its symptoms. This condition can manifest in various parts of the body, with common areas including the elbows, knees, and hands. In infants and toddlers, it frequently appears on the face. Symptoms can begin at any age, though they typically start in babies and young children and often improve as they grow older. Individuals may experience periods when their symptoms worsen, known as flare-ups, followed by times when they feel better.
