About Dr Ophelia Veraitch

Dr Ophelia Veraitch is a high-profile, award-winning consultant dermatologist based in London, specialising in hair loss, acne and eczema, rosacea and hyperpigmentation. Dr Veraitch privately practices at 130 Harley Street and her NHS base is University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Dr Veraitch has expertise in cosmetic dermatology including anti-ageing treatments, chemical peels and light/laser-based therapies. She has her own line of skin and hair products and is the UK and India representative on the International Board of Dermatologists for L'Oreal Paris. She works with each of her patients individually, from initial consultation to devising a personalised course of treatments. Most uniquely, she formulates products for her patients to use as part of their everyday skin and hair regimes. Dr Veraitch's educational achievements are equally impressive as her clinical practice, having studied at both leading national and international institutions. She has an MBBS and BSc (Hons) in Haematology from Imperial College London and a MRCP (Derm) from St John's Institute of Dermatology, part of Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. Furthermore, she underwent a PhD in Dermatology between her BSc and MRCP, at Keio University in Tokyo, Japan. Dr Veraitch actively publishes original research and reviews in medical journals and book chapters. Her work has been recognised by the medical field and she has been presented with numerous awards, most recently the European Society of Hair Research Fellowship Award.
