Infertility

Infertility occurs when a couple is unable to conceive despite having regular unprotected intercourse. Approximately 1 in 7 couples experience challenges when trying to get pregnant. For over 80% of couples with a woman under 40, conception is likely to occur naturally within a year if they engage in unprotected sex every 2 to 3 days. However, for couples who have been attempting to conceive for more than 3 years without success, the chances of achieving a pregnancy naturally in the following year drop to about 1 in 4 or lower.
