Dupuytren's contracture

Dupuytren's contracture occurs when one or more fingers bend towards the palm. While there is no cure for this condition, surgery can help straighten the fingers if the situation is severe. This condition primarily impacts the ring and little fingers, and it often affects both hands simultaneously. Dupuytren's contracture typically progresses gradually over several months or years. Although it is generally not painful, it can interfere with hand function.
