About Mr Ranjeev Bhangoo
Mr Ranjeev Bhangoo is a highly respected neurosurgeon based in London. He is the clinical director of neuroscience at King’s College London and the neurosurgeon to the European School of Oncology (ESO) and the European Society of Therapeutic Radiation and Oncology (ESTRO). He has won the Victor Ludorum, the Medical School Gold Medal and the Norman Dott Gold Medal in Neurosurgery and is one of the few UK surgeons trained in both CyberKnife® and Gamma Knife® radiosurgery. He operates from a number of reputable clinics in the capital as part of the London Neurosurgery Partnership, including the Harley Street Clinic and the London Clinic. He is an expert in all areas of cranial and spinal neurosurgery but has a particular interest in the treatment of brain tumours and spinal conditions, areas on which he has published over 100 papers. He is also highly experienced when it comes to Laser Interstitial Thermal Therapy (LiTT) and BrainPath© minimally invasive brain surgery. Impressively, Mr Bhangoo has thoroughly studied the medical and surgical treatment of brain tumours and has successfully undertaken research at Europe’s leading cancer institute – The Institute Gustave Roussy, Paris, France.
