About Mr Raghbir Khakha

Mr Raghbir Khakha is a leading consultant trauma and orthopaedic surgeon, based in London. He has a special interest in injuries and disorders of the knee including sports injuries, joint preservation surgery, total, partial, and revision knee replacement, osteotomy, and paediatric knee conditions. Mr Khakha completed his undergraduate degree in Trauma and Orthopaedics at University College London in 2005, before going on to complete his medical training at St George's Hospital in 2006, and gaining a MSc in Trauma and Orthopaedics in 2017 at the University of Brighton. He completed a fellowship with Professor Adrian Wilson, focusing on complex ligament, osteotomy, and arthroplasty surgery, while also having the opportunity to travel around the world to train with renowned surgeons, including a spell at Massachusetts General Hospital for Trauma Surgery, in Boston, USA. Mr Khakha is involved in the training and education of fellow surgeons. He is a honorary senior clinical lecturer, and runs courses in postgraduate surgical exams, while continuing to supervise junior surgeons. He has published numerous peer-reviewed papers, and continues undertaking research projects.
