About Mr Patrick Grover

Mr Patrick Grover is a renowned consultant skull base and vascular neurosurgeon who practises privately at the Cleveland Clinic in London and with Amethyst Radiotherapy at the Queen Square (Gamma Knife) Radiosurgery Centre. He also serves as Clinical Director at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (NHNN), part of the University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. With over 15 years of experience, Mr Grover has particular expertise in the surgical management and treatment of skull base tumours, acoustic neuromas, meningiomas, arteriovenous malformations, cerebral aneurysms and cavernomas. As an expert in Gamma Knife radiosurgery, he uses a minimally invasive treatment that delivers highly precise radiation beams to manage both malignant and non-malignant brain tumours, as well as vascular and functional disorders of the brain, without harming healthy tissue. Mr Grover is highly qualified, holding a BSc in Biological Sciences, an MSc in Neurosciences and an MBBS from the University of Oxford. He completed his medical and neurosurgical training at Imperial College, the Royal London Hospital and Great Ormond Street Hospital in London, followed by fellowship training at the NHNN. In addition to his clinical work, Mr Grover is a well-respected researcher in the field of neurosurgery, with academic interests in cavernomas, unruptured aneurysms, AVM registries, and the application of AI techniques and technology in skull base tumour surgery. His work has been widely published in respected peer-reviewed journals, including Neurosurgical Review. Mr Grover also has significant teaching experience, serving as course director for the Queen Square Neurosurgery Review Course and as co-director of the Queen Square Simulation Centre.
