About Mr Obiekezie Agu

Mr Obiekezie Agu is an esteemed consultant vascular and endovascular surgeon who specialises in minimally invasive procedures to correct complex vascular problems. He takes a keen interest in all aspects of vascular conditions from managing varicose veins to diabetic foot complications to carotid endarterectomy to prevent strokes. Mr Agu undertook his fellowship at the Royal Free Hospital, where he was awarded a master of surgery for his work on haemodynamic and histological changes in venous disease. He is also a fellow in the Royal College of Surgeons, the International Society of Endovascular Surgeons, and the Vascular Society of Great Britain and Ireland. He is still actively involved in research, especially in the prevention and management of deep vein thrombosis and chronic leg swelling.
