About Dr Jim Newton

Dr. Jim Newton is a Consultant Cardiologist specialising in echocardiography and valvular heart disease. He is experienced in the management of conditions such as aortic stenosis, mitral valve disease, and coronary artery disease, with a focus on imaging techniques for structural heart procedures. After qualifying from the University of Leicester, Dr. Newton completed postgraduate training in Oxford, where he has been a Consultant Cardiologist. He has extensive expertise in procedural imaging for structural heart interventions, including pre-, intra-, and post-procedure assessments. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Newton is a former council member of the British Society of Echocardiography and currently serves as the training program director for cardiology in the Thames Valley. Currently, Dr. Jim Newton practices at Cleveland Clinic London.
