Professor Huw Morris is a consultant neurologist and Professor of Neurology and Neurogenetics at the National Hospital Queen Square and the Royal Free Hospital and UCL Institute of Neurology. His expertise focuses on movement disorders and neurogenetics, with significant contributions to understanding Parkinson's disease, tremor, genetic/familial movement disorders, familial dementia and motor neuron disease, and atypical Parkinsonian disorders like PSP and CBS. He has led and continues to lead a series of interventional clinical trials (drug studies) and observational studies looking at the genetic basis of disease. He leads the cohorts group for the Global Parkinson’s Genetics Program and the MRC-NIHR Rare Disease Research Platform EXPRESS study.
