About Dr David Földes
Dr David Földes is a consultant haematologist and haemato-oncologist with expertise in the management of all blood conditions including anaemia, abnormal blood counts, thrombosis and blood cancers such as myeloproliferative disorders, lymphoma and myeloma. He takes pride in excellent communication of complex medical concepts, empowering patients by helping them to understand test results, diagnoses and treatment options. Dr Földes qualified from Kings College London in 2012 and continued post-graduate training in Internal Medicine in north London. He undertook Haematology specialty training at Imperial College Healthcare, gaining Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathology (Haematology) in 2021. Prior to taking on a consultant post he served as a senior clinical research fellow at Imperial College Healthcare, acting as investigator on a broad portfolio of haemato-oncology trials. He has a keen interest in implementing novel therapeutics including immune, cell and gene therapies in clinical practice. His NHS practice is based at Northwick Park Hospital where he treats patients for blood cancers and serves as the clinical lead for the thrombosis service.
