Clubfoot
Clubfoot, also known as talipes, is a rare condition in which a baby is born with one or both feet twisted into an abnormal position. Early treatment, typically initiated shortly after birth, is generally effective. If your baby has clubfoot, you may notice that their foot could appear: DR M.A. ANSARY/SCIENCE PHOTO LIBRARY In some cases, a baby may exhibit signs of clubfoot, but their feet may naturally realign to a normal position as they grow, a situation referred to as positional talipes.
