About Mr Anoop Anugraha

Mr Anoop Anugraha is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon specialising in the foot, ankle, and knee. Practising in the Greater London and Kent regions, he has expertise in treating bunions, foot arthritis, ankle and heel pain, plantar fasciitis, ligamental injuries, and knee osteoarthritis, and he is equally proficient at performing knee replacements and knee arthroscopy. Mr Anugraha qualified from the University of Calicut in Kerala in 1998. He completed his specialist training in trauma and orthopaedics in 2005. In 2015, he became a fellow in trauma of the Royal College of Surgeons and was certified by the European Board of Orthopaedics and Traumatology. Mr Anugraha has completed three fellowships in foot and ankle surgery: the Manchester University Hospital Foot and Ankle Fellowship; the Foot, Ankle, and Diabetic Foot Fellowship at King’s College Hospital; and a post-CCT foot and ankle fellowship at Stockport Hospital. Additionally, he has also completed a knee surgery fellowship at King’s College Hospital. His prior wealth of experience in surgery ensures that he can treat many ailments of the bones and joints while employing a variety of techniques and approaches to best and efficiently treat his patients. Apart from his clinical practice, Mr Anugraha has several research publications under his name, focusing on subjects such as conservative and surgical management of foot and ankle conditions and sports injuries. He is active within medical education and trains and mentors junior doctors and surgery trainees. He is a tutor in orthopaedics at the Royal College of Surgeons, and leads the teaching programme.
