About Mr William Hart
Mr William Hart is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Nuffield Health Wolverhampton Hospital, with specialist expertise in lower limb arthroplasty, including complex primary and revision hip procedures. His clinical interests include young adult hip arthroplasty, alternative bearing technologies, minimally invasive and computer-navigated surgery. He also has expertise in knee arthroscopy, forefoot surgery, and the management of post-traumatic conditions affecting the lower limb. He undertook his undergraduate medical training in London. He completed his registrar training at the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital in Gobowen. Having developed a focused interest in lower limb arthroplasty, Mr Hart completed fellowship training at the renowned Wrightington Hospital in Lancashire, widely recognised as the birthplace of modern cemented hip replacement. This fellowship provided advanced experience in complex primary and revision arthroplasty. He subsequently undertook further fellowship training at internationally recognised centres of excellence in New York, Toronto, and Vancouver. Mr Hart was appointed to New Cross Hospital in September 2006 and commenced his role as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in January 2007. He is a member of several professional organisations, including the British Medical Association, the British Orthopaedic Association, the British Hip Society, and the British Society for Surgery of the Hand.
