About Mr T K Sankar

Mr T K Sankar is a leading, highly established consultant in cosmetic, plastic and reconstructivesurgery who specialises in breast augmentation, breast reduction, transgender breast surgeries, liposuction, lipofilling and tummy tucks. Based in Leicester, Mr Sankar has over 22 years' medical experience and has performed over 19,000 procedures in his career. In 1989, Mr Sankar was awarded a bachelor of medicine and surgery from the Madurai Medical College & Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai, India. He underwent further post graduate training in Madurai and in 1992 went to the UK to be an observer in the NHS, to gain experience in how the NHS works. He returned to Madurai to complete training before relocating to the UK permanently in 1995. Since then, he has undertaken extensive Post graduate training in Plastic Surgery in UK. He has been working at SK:N clinic, where he is now a regional medical director, in Leicester since 2004 and Woodland Hospital, in Kettering since 2009. Mr Sankar currently works within the NHS as well as being the chief medical officer at the Harley Medical Group, London. Mr Sankar also contributes to the Harley Medical Group blog and in 2018 was presented with the WTO Best Plastic Surgeon award.
