About Dr Simon Prangnell

Dr Simon Prangnell is a consultant clinical neuropsychologist whose services are available through e-consultation and at the Thames Neuropsychology clinic in London. He specialises in Parkinson’s disease, traumatic brain injuries, multiple sclerosis, functional neurological disorders, and neurodevelopmental disorders. Dr Prangnell trained at the Universities of Birmingham, Oxford, and Bristol. He has extensive post qualification experience undertaking neuropsychological assessment and treatment with people who have neurological injuries and illnesses (such as traumatic brain injury, Parkinson's disease and Multiple Sclerosis as well as neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADHD). He has worked in a large neurosciences centre as part of a neurosurgical MDT as well as in specialist neurorehabilitation services. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Prangnell conducts research into psychological factors that influence quality of life in long term conditions, cross-cultural neuropsychology, and the neuropsychology of deep brain stimulation. Dr Prangnell can treat patients aged 16 and up and offers neuropsychological assessments, mental capacity assessments and neuropsychological therapies.
