About Dr Regina Sala

Dr Regina Sala is an experienced consultant psychiatrist in London who specialises in both adult and child psychiatry. Her areas of expertise include ADHD, autism, spectrum disorder, anxiety, depression, sleep disorders and its interlink with physical health. Dr Sala graduated as a medical doctor from the University of Barcelona in 2003. She then trained in General Psychiatry in Spain and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Centre, USA, obtaining her registered specialist in 2008 and 2010. Dr Sala gained a master’s degree in Integrative Psychotherapy in 2008 and was awarded a PhD in Psychiatry by the University of Barcelona in 2011 with distinction with honours. She has trained and worked in the most prestigious clinical and research medical centres, nationally and internationally, including the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience, King’s College London, South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, Cornell University, and New York State Psychiatry Institute, Columbia University, USA. Since 2017, Dr Sala holds a faculty appointment as an honorary clinical senior lecturer at the Centre for Psychiatry, Barts & The London School of Medicine & Dentistry and the Queen Mary University of London.
