About Mr Jonathan Quayle
Mr Jonathan Quayle is a highly accomplished consultant orthopaedic surgeon based in Salisbury, practising at New Hall Hospital. He specialises in hip and knee surgery, with particular expertise in knee replacement, knee preservation and hip replacement, alongside the management of patella instability and cartilage disorders. He offers a full range of modern treatments, including personalised knee replacement alignment, minimally invasive approaches and day-case surgery, caring for patients with conditions from early sports injuries to advanced arthritis. Mr Quayle studied medicine at the Universities of Cambridge and Oxford before serving with the Royal Army Medical Corps. After completing orthopaedic training in the UK, he undertook prestigious fellowships in hip and knee reconstruction at North Shore Hospital in Auckland and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore, where he refined advanced joint preservation and joint replacement techniques. He holds the FRCS (Trauma & Orthopaedics) and is an active member of leading professional organisations, including the British Orthopaedic Association, the British Association for Surgery of the Knee and the British Hip Society. Deeply committed to academic advancement, Mr Quayle has published widely in peer-reviewed orthopaedic journals, including important work on preventing infection in joint replacement surgery.
