Mr Hrsikesa Sharma is an exceptionally skilled consultant plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgeon who is equipped with the latest techniques and skills for treating his patients. Mr Sharma underwent extensive surgical training and has practised at world-class plastic surgery units. Among his areas of expertise are breast enlargement (also called breast augmentation) surgery, abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), breast reduction, mastopexy (breast lift), labiaplasty and blepharoplasty. Having graduated with honours from Cambridge University medical school, Mr Sharma completed his higher plastic surgical training within the prestigious Pan Thames programme in London. His skill and dedication were recognised through being awarded the International Fellow position at the world-famous St Vincent's Hospital in Melbourne, Australia. During this time, he gained further experience and insight into all fields of plastic surgery, including breast and cosmetic surgery. After this, he underwent further specialist training. He worked in one of the world’s most highly sought after microsurgical breast fellowships in Chelmsford and the prestigious Wellington Cosmetic Fellowship, which is one of only a few dedicated cosmetic fellowships. He trained at The Wellington Hospital and King Edward VII (the Royal Hospital), some of the country’s top private hospitals. He also dedicates his career to research. His scientific medical research has been published in renowned peer-reviewed journals and he has presented his work internationally. This includes his involvement with the world’s first documented four DIEP breast reconstruction free flaps in four different patients in one day in a single operating theatre. Mr Sharma has outstanding clinical expertise and has acquired unique insight and intuition into patient care and safety, and he strives to put these factors at the forefront of his practice.
