About Mr Deepak Singh-Ranger
Mr Deepak Singh-Ranger is a consultant general surgeon and founder of ABH Surgery. He specialises in bowel cancer surgery, hernia repairs for both the abdominal wall and groin, abdominal wall reconstructions, haemorrhoids, and anal fissures. His practice is located at Nuffield Health Wolverhampton Hospital. Mr Singh-Ranger received his medical qualification in 1994, followed by initial training in Essex. He then spent a year at St Luke’s Hospital for the Clergy, and worked in anatomy demonstration at St Bartholomew’s and the London Hospitals. After, he went on to complete basic surgical training at Northwick Park and St Mark’s Hospitals, as well as an MD in research at University College London. He has completed three fellowships, one in coloproctology at St Mark’s Hospital, and two in laparoscopic surgery at the MATU unit of Royal Surrey County Hospital and Warwick Hospital. In addition to his clinical practice, Mr Sing-Ranger is involved with medical education as a tutor to MSc students at the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh and undergraduate students undertaking their MBBS OSCE examinations at the University of Birmingham and Aston Medical Schools. He is also a clinical advisor to the Parliamentary Services Ombudsman. Mr Singh-Ranger prioritises meeting high standards of care for his patients
