About Dr Arvind Singh

Dr Arvind Vijay Singh is a highly experienced, expert consultant cardiac surgeon who currently practises privately at the highly esteemed The Essex Cardiothoracic Centre in Basildon, with his main location of medical practice being at the equally prestigious London-based The Harley Street Clinic. He specialises in adult cardiology, heart valve surgery, aortic surgery and cardiac screening but to mention a few, and possesses a special medical interest in areas including minimally invasive aortic valve repair and replacement, coronary artery bypass grafts, aortic root replacement, aortic aneurysm repair, as well as complex aortic surgery and complex aortic valve surgery. As a highly professional, dedicated and esteemed consultant cardiac surgeon, Dr Singh's main mission is to save the aortic valve. In order to succesfully do this, he (whenever possible) incorporates the use of various durable repair techniques as opposed to replacing it with an artificial valve. He is the current clinical lead for the complex aortic aneurysm program at the London-based The Keyhole Heart Clinic. Dr Singh is mightily experienced when it comes to medical surgery. In 1991, he obtained a bachelor of medicine, bachelor of surgery from the well-regarded and established Government Medical College in Nagpur, India, prior to then successfully going on to complete a master's degree in general surgery at the same education centre six years later, in 1997. 2002 would be the year when the highly trained and qualified Dr Singh would specialise in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery, completing a MCh in this particular field at the Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences, India. Dr Singh undertook his specialist medical training at The Trent Cardiac Centre in Nottingham, and was awarded two Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons' qualifications in 2003 and 2010 respectively.
