About Dr Angana Bhattacharya

Dr Angana Bhattacharya is a highly respected Consultant Paediatrician in Neurodevelopmental Paediatrics, specialising in ADHD, Autism, Developmental delay and Neurodisability. She has extensive expertise in diagnosing and managing children with complex developmental and behavioural needs, including supporting those with genetic conditions like Down’s syndrome. As ADHD Lead in her current NHS position, she provides care in line with NICE guidance, ensuring children and young people receive personalised, evidence-based support. Dr Bhattacharya combines her clinical experience with a strong commitment to education, advocacy, and parent engagement. She is an OSCE examiner for medical students and PLAB Professional Linguistic Assessment Board examiner. She supports social initiatives, actively teaches medical students and allied health professionals. She also leads quality improvement projects and runs Paediatrics4Parents, a social media initiative supporting parents with practical guidance and insights into child development and health. 1. Consultation Fees Initial consultation: £300 Follow-up consultation: £150 2. Any assessment will require a GP referral. Age of assessment until 16 years of age. 3. ADHD Assessment 4. ASD – Autism Assessment 5. Medication: The cost of any prescribed medication is not included in the appointment fees. 6. Prescriptions and Letter Service: This is for prescription and letter requests outside of a consultation. This service requires 72 hours notice and is available Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays. Please note this is only for repeat medication prescriptions, initiated by Dr Bhattacharya.
