About Dr Alex Fragoyannis

Dr Alex Fragoyannis is a distinguished GP with a special interest in the ear, nose, and throat, as well as cardiovascular health. He currently practises at The Harrow Health Care Centre, and his main areas of expertise include cardiovascular diseases, ear infections, health screening, cardiac screening, blood tests, Dr Fragoyannis completed his medical studies at Aberdeen University, graduating in 2001. After gaining experience in various hospital specialties, he trained in general practice and became a member of the Royal College of GPs in 2006. Since then, Dr Fragoyannis has worked as both a locum and salaried GP in several practices across Harrow and Ealing, and he has been a partner at Corfton Road Surgery since 2011, a position he continues to hold. More recently, he joined Harrow Health Care Centre, a private GP practice located within The Clementine Churchill Hospital. Dr Fragoyannis is passionate about teaching medical students and has previously served as a tutor and examiner at Imperial College. He has also been involved in NHS commissioning, management, and strategy for Harrow Primary Care Trust (PCT) and was an elected member of the Governing Board for Ealing Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) from 2011 to 2021. His areas of special interest include ENT and cardiology, along with a strong focus on medical IT. Additionally, Dr Fragoyannis is the course organiser and lead trainer for the Ear Care Academy, which trains clinicians in ear microsuction techniques. He is also the founder of EarCareLab, which offers safe and effective ear microsuction services for wax removal, treatment of ear infections, and consultations for ear-related issues. This service is available at Harrow Health Care Centre within The Clementine Churchill Hospital as well.
